Cornavin station guide
Geneva Airport ↔ Cornavin Station Transfer
Travelling between Geneva Airport (GVA) and Genève-Cornavin is one of the most common journeys in the city. Depending on your luggage, your group size and the time of day, you can take the train or book a private door-to-door transfer.
By train — about 7 minutes
Geneva Airport has its own railway station directly beneath the terminal. Direct trains link Genève-Aéroport and Genève-Cornavin in about 7 minutes with no change, and they run several times an hour from early morning until after midnight — so you rarely wait long. It is the fastest and most economical option when you are travelling light.
Trains from the airport also continue beyond Cornavin to the Léman Express regional network, the rest of Switzerland (InterCity, InterRegio) and to France by TGV Lyria.
By private transfer — door to door
A private transfer takes you directly from the terminal to the station forecourt (or the reverse) without carrying your luggage through either building. Your driver tracks your flight or train and waits for you, even when it is delayed. The price is fixed and confirmed at booking — no meter, no surprises.
